Prof. Dr.-Ing. Marc Aubreville

Team head, Professor for Image Understanding and Medical Application of Artificial Intelligence at Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

I’ve received my Ph.D (Dr.-Ing.) from Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg and my M. Sc. (Dipl.-Ing.) from Karlsruhe Institute of Technology. My vision is to utilize the power of artificial intelligence algorithms and scale them to clinical applications. With 10+ years of industry experience, I know what it takes to create a great medical product.

Jonas Ammeling, M. Sc.

PhD Student, Scientific staff member of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

I am a research assistant and PhD student at the Technical University of Applied Sciences Ingolstadt. I received my Master’s degree in Statistics & Data Science from Leiden University in the Netherlands. My current work focuses on the development of deep learning applications in digital pathology and radiology. I am particularly interested in object detection methods, self-supervised learning, more user-centric approaches, and multimodal vision-language processing.

Jonathan Ganz, M. Sc.

PhD Student, Scientific staff member of Technische Hochschule Ingolstadt

I am a PhD student at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences. I received my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in medical engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Trier. Besides my general interest in deep learning and medical image understanding, my research focuses on the assessment of global and local information from histology slides using deep learning.
